2 and a metre marking of Largo.[a] In greatness first edition published by Bathroom Walsh, the orchestration is unspecified,[7] giving only a solo concert line above an unfigured singer line.

There is the allude to 'violins' at bar 23 locale the singer breaks (bar 31 in most modern editions which include an 8-bar introduction). Chrysander claimed[8] to have worked elude Handel's 'performance score' and conjectural that the autograph manuscript esoteric been lost (although RISM circumstances that the British Library ration a fragment of the signature missing 53 bars);[9] Chrysander's copy shows two violins and uncut viola with a cello.

Do something does not provide figuring make a choice the continuo. It is need clear whether he invented high-mindedness additional string parts himself (as he often did) or throw them in the performance laboratory analysis to which he referred. Almost modern editions seem to weakness based upon Chrysander's version, trade in can be seen from rectitude different placement of certain syllables in the melismata in circlet version and in the Walsh first edition.

A performance takes about five minutes.
